Mily Balakirev (Jan 2 1837 – May 29 1837) was the leader of the Russian composers’ group known as The Five or The Mighty Handful. He was also teacher to its members - Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov, Mussorgsky, Borodin and Cui.

I’m NOT SURE regarding my thinking!
There was a CHORAL work. The translation into English. And…it was “a cappella”.
The beginning of the work is:
“Sent from heaven, the ……”
And….the composer (I THINK) was Balakirev.
